PM Modi to Inaugurate Airport and Railway Station in Ayodhya; Plans Roadshow During Visit on December 30
Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to visit Ayodhya on December 30, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the newly developed Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport and Ayodhya railway station. During this visit, he is also set to lay the foundation stone for 29 developmental projects, collectively valued at over ₹3,284.60 crore.
Gaurav Dayal, the Commissioner of Ayodhya, has reported that Modi’s itinerary includes a roadshow and a public gathering, as covered by news agency ANI. Dayal highlighted the extensive preparations underway in Ayodhya for this significant visit, emphasizing the readiness of local hospitals and the implementation of a comprehensive backup plan for high-end services extending from Ayodhya to Lucknow.
He further elaborated that the inauguration of the airport and railway station, completed in their first phase, will significantly boost Ayodhya’s connectivity and infrastructure. Post-January 22, it is anticipated that the daily influx of visitors to Ayodhya could range between 50,000 to 55,000 people, with the local administration actively preparing to accommodate this increase.
