“Yogi Adityanath Shows Emotion, According to Kangana Ranaut, at ‘Tejas’ Screening”

Lucknow: A special screening of the forthcoming action thriller ‘Tejas’, featuring Kangana Ranaut, was held for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Lok Bhawan Auditorium, Lucknow, this Tuesday.

Following the film’s viewing, Kangana disclosed that the Chief Minister was profoundly moved during the screening. Sharing her experience with ANI, Kangana mentioned, “The film touched CM Yogi Adityanath deeply, resulting in emotional moments. He offered his generous support and encouragement, urging nationalists to engage with the movie. This isn’t merely a women empowerment film; it celebrates the essence of women’s strength.”

Kangana also took to Instagram to express her gratitude, posting several photos from the event. Her caption recounted the Chief Minister’s emotional response, thanking him for his commendations and blessings. She revealed that the powerful performances and portrayal of a soldier’s valour in the movie brought tears to his eyes.

In the shared visuals, Kangana was photographed alongside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other distinguished members of the team. Additional photos displayed the Chief Minister bestowing a unique token of appreciation upon the actress.

Before its official release, the film ‘Tejas’ was exclusively showcased to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and a host of Indian Air Force Officers in Delhi’s Indian Airforce Auditorium.

‘Tejas’, directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, narrates the valiant saga of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot. The movie aims to evoke a sense of national pride by illustrating the dedication and resilience of Indian Air Force pilots who safeguard our nation amidst diverse challenges. It made its cinematic debut on October 27, 2023.
